Golf Inspiration...

Although I am not really much of a golfer, I have found my inspiration to get out on to the golf course...A purple flower shaped sparkly golf ball marker that clips to your hat!

I found this little sparkly number at a golf course pro shop and couldn't resist buying it. $30 was well worth it, even if I don't play golf. :)

Miracle Product Alert...Removes ANY type of stain on clothing, furniture and carpet!

If you are like me and can't stand not being able to clean any piece of clothing, furniture or section of carpet back to it's original prestine form, you are going to love this product.
Carona stain removing soap comes in various forumulas for multiple cleaning jobs, so you will be sure to find one that meets your cleaning needs. From ballpoint pen ink, blood, grass and rust, this product works wonders.
A few years ago, I got tye-dye ink on a pair of white pants (I know what you are thinking, Why would someone wear white while tye-dying? The answer...I didn't "think" I would get anything on me. oops!) that didn't belong to me. I was pretty sure I wasn't going to get the stain off the pants, and thought I was better off just going to the store to replace them. I happened to call a fabric store for stain removing advise and was recommeded the Cabona stain removing product line.
I drove directly to the store and picked up the soap for about $4. Well, I am happy to report that the product completely removed the tye-dye ink from the white pants. If that product review does not inspire you to purchase the product, you are not a true crazy person like me :)
Happy Cleaning!

Let the Countdown Begin... See's Sour Stars Due in Store June 18th

I have been waiting for the See's Sour Stars to finally arrive in local See's Candies stores for about a month now. With just about a week away, I am starting to get excited. For the past few weeks, I have been checking in on a few local stores, just in case they might have gotten a shipment a little early. Unfortunately, I have yet to find them, although the See's Candies ladies really like my enthusiasm for their products :0)

The official in store date for the new summer Sour Stars is June 18th and I can hardly wait. The new flavors for seasonal stars are Blueberry, Strawberry and Lemonade. If you can't wait, you can order them online now, but after shipping costs they will run you around $12 for a bag. I thought about ordering them a few times, but I realized it was simply just a little too crazy, even for me.

Happy Candy Eating!!

NEW Product Alert...Shrek Orgeheads

Found these awesome little Shrek Orgehead candies a few weeks ago at Walgreens. Although at first look I thought they looked really gross, I bought them anyway in hopes that the unique apple flavor overshadowed the weirdness of the product.

To my delight, they are actually a great little candy with a not so typical marshmellow texture. The texture is more like a dense stale marshmellow rather than the light fluffy texture I was expecting. The fun shape and great apple flavor makes this candy a winner in my book.

Enjoy!

To Anyone Who Loves Cadbury Creme Eggs...

Beware of buying Cadbury Creme Eggs too far before Easter. I personally believe that the Cadbury Creme Eggs that are currently on the shelves are from last year and the "Creme" centers are more like paste.
Nothing sucks more than biting into the season's first Cadbury Creme Egg only to find out that you have been duped by the store. Be patient...wait at least two more weeks before you buy.

The Cadbury Mini Eggs are a great alternative to the Creme Eggs if you just can't wait to dive into the Easter Candy season.

Enjoy!

Bubblegum Vodka and Go Girl!

This past summer, I came across a yummy new Bubblegum Flavored vodka. I know what your thinking...it must taste gross. I am happy to report that it is the BEST flavored vodka I have ever had. I absolutely LOVE IT!!

During Christmas, I stopped by a state run liquor store in Seattle to pick up a bottle to share with friends. They said they decided not to carry the Bubblegum flavor because they felt it was a temptation to underage drinkers. Haha!! Luckily, California does not fell the same way.

Try mixing it with some Go Girl Energy drink and I guarantee you will be happy with the result!

Valentine's Day = Candy

Valentine's Day means more to me than just celebrating with the one you love. It also means new holiday candies of all shapes and sizes are in the stores waiting for me to try them.

Every Valentine's Day, for as long as I can remember, my dad has given me the same heart shaped box of See's chocolates. I look forward to this box every year and can't hardly wait to rip open the box when it shows up at my house. I only ever ate See's candies around Valentine's Day..that is until recently.

See's candy shops carry MUCH more than their boxed chocolates. For Valentine’s Day this year, I picked up a bag of their See's Hot Hearts and See's Sour Hearts

The Hearts were a bit expensive ($4.50 for a 12 ounce bag) but the bag was pretty and included a real piece of ribbon on it and a thick plastic bag. I'm a sucker for good packaging. :)

.. these were both so good and I think I might want some more after Valentine’s Day!
